As nice as it is to get gifts I think we've all lost sight of what it means. Christmas is a time of sharing, a time to spend with family. Its a time to give things and not expect anything in return. I've even lost sight of this, with my lack of money I just wanted to make money good. I've seen posts that a mama is called selfish cause she bought herself a $20 book instead of her kids stuff even if she had bought them things already.

What is it with people? I want my son to always have the best but it wont always be about gifts it'll be with family.

I love helping people, and I'm happy to give whatever I can afford to. My son has to come first. I just hope that people are instilling traditions, and not only traditions but that family and friends are the most important not presents. I don't know, just my insight.
