I got my three year old off the pacifier but she refuses to sleep she screams and cries and gets out of bed and bangs on the door... I don't know what to do ! And to top it off she has a 1 year old little sister that is sleeping in a pack and play until she gets adjusted but since the pacifier breaking she will only sleep w/ a big light on and she says the nightlights aren't enough. I am at a complete loss of what to do.

Ignore the screaming. Don't be an audience to it. Don't let the child know it upsets you at all. It will stop. Might take awhile for the child to realize its not worth to do this, but they do give up after awhile. It all depends on how stubborn the child is. I raised four girls in two bedrooms and the other ones usually slept though the other's temper tantrums.
