Most women can't stand their MIL..I did for several years til we finally got to know each other
On Thanksgiving day we received a phone call from MIL's BF that she would not wake up but was breathing, we drove over to her house to see if we could wake her (she was on ambien, xanax and hydrocodone) when we walked in I immediately knew she was "gone" Dh grabbed the phone and called 911.She had everything bagged up that she was gonna brig over for Thanksgiving dinner by the door and a few presents for the kids, as we wait for the paramedics Dh frantically tried to wake her up with cool rags and such, to no avail..the paramedics arrived and wisked her off the the hospital..we arrived shortly after. After CT scans and MRI's it showed she had suffered a heart attack and at least 5 strokes, her brain stem was the only thing keeping her alive..She had a DNR on file and they took her off the venilator on Dec 1st, her daughter, son me andher brother was at her side when she passed away December 3rd..it has been so surreal..she loved christmas and wanted a white christmas, it snowed here in Texas Christmas eve, she would always spoil the kids with presents, we have been having to endure the pain of going thru her things and putting all her affairs in order
I will truly miss her
