"Ice Road Truckers" and other craziness

Ok, there is a tv show called (I think) "Ice Road Truckers."  Have you seen this?  Wow, it's nuts.  Ya know what?  I watched it for...hmmmmm.....I think 5 hours today...lol....!  I am so embarassed....but it's funny.  I am not normally a tv watcher and only have a few shows that I like to watch on a regular basis.  I usually just go along with what ever everyone else is watching...and....if I really can't stand it, I escape to the computer....like I am now.  They made me turn off the trucker show so they could watch the rose bowl.  Wow, there's a priority :)  Seriously though, that trucker show was like a bad accident that I couldn't turn away from.  At one point my husband had left the house and returned to find me still in the same spot watching this show.  Freaky!  But I find it damn funny that this, of all shows, was something that caught my interest today.  I really have no idea why I am sharing it with you, either.  Boy, I really need to get a life....but....if you did read this?     Thank you.  I love you and wish you well.  Happy New Year.

I've watched that show. It is an odd show, but easy to get addicted to. My boyfriend is an otr truck driver, so I can only watch that show and be grateful that that's NOT the kind of driving he does.

HAH!  I lived in Yellowknife for 3 years (had my 2nd son there on Christmas Eve 2006) and it is an awesome place.  Love the ice roads, the whacky people and well, not the cold, but it makes things interesting.  Very unique place - you should watch the other show about the ice pilots - they are nuts too!! I was 9 months pregnant and talking to one at a Christmas party and when someone said "when are you due??", he blinked and looked stunned and said "are you pregnant??" DUH!! No, just like to walk around with a basketball under my dress... kind of frightening that he's a bush pilot...
