why do some people make the most disgusting smacking noises when they eat??? Uggh!! I can't stand it! I am talking about adults - not kids ;-)

My son has a problem with that. He is 10 now. I think he has nasal problems or something. It annoys us all and I have to tell him about it daily and it is something he has to really concentrate on.
Some people may not have manners or h ave a condition that makes them sound gross.
I agree! one of my biggest peeves, I am really working on my 4 year old DD to chew with her mouth closed, but cant do much about 2 year old DS because he has large adnoids which he is waiting for surgery to remove and he really cant breathe through his nose...one day soon tho!

Yaaasss! It makes me nutty, and my sister tortured me for years. Now, it's my youngest! My eldest is better, but he's about to participate in a social skills/cotillion program. I'm hoping he'll hear what I've been saying from someone else and preach it to his brother!
I totally agree!!Sick,disgusting hogs!!!!I have been known to ask people if they would rather eat in the barn,with the rest of the animals!!Not that I have a barn,but still!!
My SIL says that I am the only one so bothered by it.I say she only says that because she never taught her son to eat like a human,so she's biased.LOL
My ex was the worst at that even drinking coffee he managed to make a smacking noise.. I was married to him 20 years~ I'm so glad I don't have to lesson to it anymore.
