I chatted with a few friends from Cafemom, as well as my aunt who is a big gay rights supporter, and have decided to stay on Cafemom.
I feel it is important to speak my mind in a respectful way, and to be heard. Not just about gay rights issues... but about everything. I'm very opinionated (if you haven't noticed? lol) and I'm not going to let anyone get me down about it. It's a good quality to have and I'm embracing it.
So, I have decided to stay... though I will not be as active in my groups. I will probably leave most of them. I am most interested in gaining (and keeping) friendships as well as helping others. That's all I'm here for. Other issues are of no importance to me.
I will not let them (negativities) win, and I'm not leaving... not now, not any time soon.
Thank you to everyone who has supported me during this time, I've had a lot going on at home.. with not having a job any more and trying to get my tutu business going (shout out.. http://www.nelliebugs.com/ ) and just life in general happening... I've been a little, um, stressed.. I guess you could say. :)
Also thank you for welcoming Rachel with open arms! I appreciate it! She just did her first hair bow giveaway in a group here and we will be mailing out 5 sets of hair bows this week!
Sorry for all the confusion, all the good byes, all the drama.. it stops now. I'm only here to help, so I hope that goal can be reached... that is one of my 2010 resolutions.. to help as many people as possible!
Please do not ask about what has happened on the past here as far as certain groups, etc because it just gets me riled up.... I want to keep my presence here a positive one. Thank you!

I am sooo happy you decided to stay!!! I couldn't get myself to write you a good bye! I had a feeling that was the root of your issue but was truly hoping not!!! You have given me strength and hope in ways you will never know. I thank you for that! You are a strong and wonderful asset not only as a gay mother, but also to any one who you've touched in any way here on cm!!!! Yay! I'm so glad you are staying. :-) We should all start 2010 off positively and not let negativity keep us down! (one of my resolutions too)

I've just come back to CM after a long time away. I decided not to let the craziness and negativity drive me away from some pretty cool moms here. Sounds like you've come to the same decision :)
