court was cancelled

Just 6 months after our divorce, my ex filed to take me back to court to lower all support.  3-4 months later we were infront of a commissioner, and she slashed my support.  Just slashed it,, down to under 1/3 of what i had before.  I can't even tell you how stunned my attorney was.

I filed (to go infront of a judge) to get some or all of my support back.  I can't even recall the details, but for some reason, we had a court date and it was cancelled (for the life of me, I can't remember why,,, it's possible my ex's attorney cancelled).  I got another court date for today,,, and just hours before the appointed time, it was cancelled by the judge.

I can't beleive the incredible luck of my ex, and he doesn't deserve it.  Slashing my support has left me beyond broke.  Most of the food and gas I buy is on CC's (yes, I work full time), and he just brought a brand new vehicle.

I'm not posting this to cry on anyones shoulder, that won't do any good,, but for those that know me,, I wanted to update you.  I now have to wait another month before I can get infront of a judge.  In the mean time,, I'm so broke, I didn't even buy a single Christmas present this year,, not one.

Just make sure you tell that to the judge- about Christmas etc!
