I get a call from what I thought was my boyfriend (caller ID), instead it is his friend. They just got back from getting tuxes for his wedding (my boyfriend is best man). I was then INFORMED that I was picking up pop and meeting at their house tonight at 8 for pizza and a movie. Now, I've been w/my boyfriend for almost 6 years and we have never been invited let alone INFORMED. I politely told him no thank you, the weather is supposed to be very tonight and I have alot going on. It was then changed to Saturday, I again said no thank you, Cass has basketball practice and I'm working on favors for a baby shower, he then got very irritated and hung up on me.
I called my boyfriend back and went off hysterically. I'm running on 3 hours of sleep, worring about getting everything done for 2 showers and now this off the wall wedding he is involved with (we just found out about the wedding LAST WEEK. My boyfriend will go NO WHERE without me and I screamed at him that if his friend wants to treat me like that I will not be attending.
What the hell goes through people's heads. I know too much is going through mine but COME ON. We are supposed to get ANOTHER 6 inches of snow and he wants us to drive 1/2 hour for pizza and a movie because NOW he likes us!

All things considered, I'd just stay home. People really do not have the right to make this sort of demand on you. Grace to you.
