Mila Kunis' Weight Gain Is No Cause for Concern
I took a course to stop smoking:
What I learned:
You have to get down to one pack a day.
Make a quitting date.
You have to use patches, invest in them, they do work. What your addicted to is the nicotine which the patch will slowly release in your system but you have to be down to one pack a day. Anything over that the patch won't be strong enough for you.
The week your working to one pack a day, or less, smoke half a cigarette, put it out early.
On the quitting day, wake up with conviction to quit, put the patch on and have an activity planned to take your mind off the craving for a cigarette.
After three days your system will clear of the need for cigarettes. Drink plenty of water. After three days it is all mental want/craving.
Find someone that can support you through the process. Someone you can call when or if the need for a cigarette becomes great.
The number one reason for most smokers to go back to smoking was lonliness. (A poll taken in my class)
Good luck!
