My niece Ashlyn has Rett Syndrome, I am helping my brother and sister in law spread the word. Ashlyn was diagnosed with Rett Syndrome when she was 18 months old. Rett is the worst of the worst Austism Spectrum disorders....Ashlyn has been degressing for the last 5 years. She was admited to Gillette Childrens Hospital in St. Paul, Mn I belive is the city, last week she under went VRS-Vargus Nerve Stimulation,  surgery last week, and it was successful, it usually takes about 3 weeks to 3 months to get the benefits from this type of implant that she recieved. Ashlyn has been having uncontrollable seizures and the stopping point of hospital admintance was a 30 min long seizure that took her hr to 210...freaked them out he drove 1 hr to the hospital, she's been in the hosptial since Christmas Eve, they think she will get out Monday or Tuesday...she is stubborn but also a VERY strong fighter. Give our Rett Angels a voice and show support for this movie.
