My nine year old was put on the Daytrana patch near the end of last school year. He then started a therapy program to help reprogram the way his brain processed information. His grades dropped the second six weeks of this school year. I was feeling rather hopeless about the program. Then we got his last report card. His grades this period are higher than they were the first of the year. He missed the B honor roll by two points, in math. And he knows how to do it. He just hates to do it! He has been off his ADHD meds for a month or so. He has also completed therapy. Now we can put all of our focus on his ODD. He'll start therapy for that in a week. In less than a years time, we were able to take complete control of ADHD. It's a great feeling!

Oh, and in conjuction with the program, his therapist also uses games like Go Fishing (I think that's the name of it) Connect 4, and Simon.
