not the way i expected to start the day...

so this morning I'm sitting in the kitchen waiting on my mom to get back from taking my youngest to preschool and ... i hear a loud... strange... thud-like noise ... and kinda feel the house shake... and then the dogs go to barking outside... so i go to investigate... i walk out the front door and look around... and then across the street... i see a car in the middle of the road... i did not immediately recognize it as mine... but after a few more steps i see my mom walking around from the rear end of the car... and realize OMG ... my mom just got into an accident (before i go any further... my first concern was that she was OK ... and she is... she is shaken and sore but over all she is OK)   ... here's the kicker... i got that car that i didn't recognize oh ... about  two weeks ago!!!! .....what a bite in the ass!... any way... everyone is OK and the car is in the shop for an estimated 3ish weeks... so I'll make the first payment on it while it is in the shop... " you gotta laugh at yourself cause you'd cry your eyes out if you didn't"

I am glad she is ok too. Sounds like what happened to me today. We just mailed our final pmnt for our washer and dryer yesterday. Today the knob comes off the dryer and it is not under warranty, so it is gonna cost at a minimum of 129 dollars to fix one knob!
