I have to agree with the PP. It's a legend about this "pact with the devil" not a proven fact. Regardless, many Christians do not agree with what Pat said in regards to Haiti at all. I know this Christian doesn't.

That is what is so sad about the whole thing. You see, as a non-Christian I see the various sides from a view outside of the religion. I know there are many believers who do not feel this way. I know there are sane, rational, compassionate Christians, Muslims, Jews, Pagans, Atheists...whatever.
But when people like this speak up they speak the loudest. It is the same with every facet of society. I am a Liberal who is often drowned out by the extreme Left. I am an Atheist who is often buried under the extreme anger and bitterness from others who don't believe in God.
If those of us that were actually sane shouted a little louder when idiots like this spoke we might live in a half-way decent world, with compromise making society function in a more civilized and beneficial manner.

I did a story for a news site I work for on this. Pat Robertson is known for making offensive, often insane comments like this. I am not Christian, and so I have little interest in CBN. But they might want to reconsider having Robertson on any longer, to be honest. A quiet retirement would be good for their network, as his comments are now a liability, to be frank.
After all, these cruel statements have even drawn the ire of the White House for their lack of compassion, and their ridiculous statement saying "Oh, we wasn't saying it was actually drawing God's wrath, it was just a coincidence that he was speaking about Haiti" are pretty transparent.
Also, since when is it 'fact' that Haiti made a pact with the devil? lol.
