I've been meaning to go to CVS all week, but had other things going on. So, by today (last day in CVS's sale week) I had lost my shopping list of what I planned to buy. Well, I think I can actually pinpoint the moment when I threw it away by mistake :o( So I recreated my list, which didn't seem as spectacular as I remembered it being, and headed out.
Here's what I got:
CVS brand Raisins $1.00
CVS Reusable Shopping Bag $1.00 (get $1 ECB wyb 2 bags and/or bag tags)
CVS Bag Tag (put it on your reusable bag & get $1 ECB with every 4th swipe) $1.00
2-pack Clorox Wipes $4.99 (get $1 ECB)
2-pack Cheerios $7.99 (get $4 ECB)
3 Welch's Grape Jelly 3/$5 (Raincheck from last week's deal)
2 Libby's Canned Pumpkin $0.49 each (marked down on the shelf)
Comstock Apple Pie Filling $0.62 (marked down on the shelf)
I used a $1.00 off Honey Nut Cheerios coupon (which worked even though mine wasn't Honey Nut), a $5 off $20 CVS coupon, and $5 ECB from my last trip, and paid $12.12 oop. I think that's pretty good for what I got :o)
Plus, I have $6 ECBs for my next trip!
Side Note: Initially, the Libby's and Comstock rang up their full prices ($1.99 and $2.49, respectively), but I (almost) always check my reciepts, and especially tonight because I thought the grand total sounded like more than I had expected it to be. I checked the shelf first, to see if I had mis-read the posting, and then showed the shift manager who pulled several tags off the shelves that weren't supposed to be there, and refunded the difference to me. A little hassle, but if they had been the full price, I wouldn't have bought them!
