I arrived home this afternoon to an empty house. My mom and I had a great time for the past 5 days. Can't believe my hubby and kids are away until tomorrow (no school tomorrow due to some holiday). Don't like the quiet house. Even the dog is gone. Boo hoo. Miss my family, but so glad to have 5 wonderful days with my mom in Florida.

I'm glad you had time alone with your mom. It's rare that moms and daughters can just be together, by themselves. I miss the last time I was away with my mom! It was about three years ago when we visited my sister. On the way, we were grounded for 5 hours in the Philadelphia airport and had the best time! All we did was sip coffee and laugh!!!!
