Hi everyone. I know I haven't been around for quite awhile but I will try to do better. Guess what.....I got a new computer for Christmas! I still have slow dial up internet :( I guess that comes with living out in the boon docks. LOL Every time I call to see if high speed is available to me, I get the same answer...not yet but hopefully soon. sigh When I got my new computer, I also got photoshop with it. I've been spending a lot of time trying to learn how to use it.

 Mindy & I went to California for a week to visit Missy. We had a great time and the weather was perfect there. The day after Mindy and I flew out, the temperature at home dropped to the single digits and 6 inches of snow fell. I was so sorry that I wasn't home to see it...NOT!

 LOL Mindy, Missy & I rented a car and we went to SanDiego to Sea World. It was amazing! After that, we returned the rental car and we all piled into Mike's truck and headed south. First we drove on the Ortega Highway, through the mountains. Beautiful! Then Mike drove along the coast so we could see the ocean. Of course we had to stop at the beach and get our feet wet. We headed on south for a couple of hours to the dessert. Mike and Missy have some friends that live down there. OMGoodness, I've never seen anything like it. Lots of...um...dirt, sand and nothing. LOL

 It was great to visit with Missy & Mike and was very hard to say goodbye. The plane ride home was LONG!

I took lots of pics (of course)so I have lots of editing to do! That's about it for now. The weather here is thick as pea soup right now. It's so foggy that I can't see the birdfeeders very well! I'm off to check out what's been going on around here on CM.

Welcome back, I too have been away for awhile. Got busy with the holidays and had both college kids come home over their break. It's so nice to spend time with family. Your trip sounds like it was wonderful. We are planning a trip out to New Hampshire for my oldest sons college graduation this spring. Looking forward to seeing the mountains and the ocean too.
