Know a great Midwife who Trusts Birth?

This is a great way that you can support the Trust Birth
Conference, on a budget. I will be nominating my amazing Midwife with
Megan, who also became my amazing preceptor. :)
Here's the info:
1. Nominate your favorite Trust Birth Worker(s). We are looking for the following categories:
**Trust Birth Midwife
**Trust Birth Doula
**Trust Birth Educator
**Birth Professional that Goes Above and Beyond to Educate and Practice Birth Truth and Trust and is a true Servant to all she meets.
2. These nominees are not just any ole midwife you know and love. These ladies promote sharing the truth with their clients and others around them. They work hard at deflating the fear balloons that are constantly flying in the faces of birthing women today. They do their best to allow the birthing family to take responsibility for their birth, not to manage them or control them, but allow them to determine what is best for their individual needs. These nominees perhaps in someway have helped to restore your faith in birth; have helped you to learn more than you thought possible about the truths surrounding birth; and are just an overall encouragement to you, their clients, students, community as a result of their knowledge and overall trust that birth is safe and interference is risky.
These nominees work to put mother/baby first and do all they can to prevent interferences, including not making themselves one, within the birth realm.
3. Once you come up with a nominee, write WHY you feel this person deserves the award. Be thorough in your description and give examples.
4. Encourage others who agree with you and have also been impacted by this same nominee to share their reasons as well.
5. Send your nominee and reasons with your $10 application fee to the Awards Committee @ tbconference@trustbirth.co
The committee with read the nominees and determine which person is the best to win in each of the 4 categories mentioned above.
FEEL FREE TO INCLUDE CLIENTS ON THIS. EVERY PERSON SENDING IN A RECOMMENDATION FOR A NOMINEE NEEDS TO SEND THE $10 FEE AS WELL.
****The winners will be invited to join us at the Banquet (we will pay for their dinner and have a special recognition on their behalf--their families will be invited as well to see them win the award).
If you know someone who deserves one of these awards--if is really your responsibility to honor them. It is so infrequent for any birth worker to truly be recognized for a remarkable job even though they give so much of their time to the cause. Let's not let this go without really taking the time to nominate these workers.
