I don't ask for a lot but when I do ask for something, I don't seem to get it. For ten years, I have been asking for a headboard for the bed. Not asking for a whole new bedroom set, just a headboard. Within the last 4 years, he has gotten a fishing boat, a golf cart and a trailer for the golf cart. I'm not including the car he got b/c it was something that was needed. When I do bring it up about the headboard, he will take a few days to look for one and then nothing. I have picked out a few at the store and showed him, but then nothing.

I've been looking into going back to work but the jobs I am looking at, I need a business degree. So I brought it up to him that I would like to go back to college to get this degree and he tells me that I didn't need to go back to college. It would only take about one year to get this degree.

He is always saying to me to figure out a way to make money but as long as it doesn't interfere with him and anything that he wants to do. He is always telling me to sell my stuff b/c we need the extra money but I don't have anything that is worth big money like he does.

I'm also getting resentful of him. He can go out any time him wants for how every long he wants and I have to loose my mind to just get two hours about every other month to have me time. And when I do get out, he starts calling after two hours about when will I be home and what's for dinner. And during my me time, I don't get to enjoy it b/c he starts an argument right before I go so I'm mad and stressed.

Time for counseling? This is much more than "a headboard"...you SHOULD go back to school..do it for YOU because YOU want to! Good Luck!
