.... you look through THEIR toybox to find YOUR hairbrush just to end up using the one that came with the latest baby doll.
....you get that phone call at 2:00 a.m. saying, "Mom come pick me up. I just totaled my truck."

I knew I was a mommy when Aubree threw up all over me and all I did was ask for a towel not freak out.
when you just know your little one will be hospitalized and have the bag packed before the dr. tells you she's admitting the little one.(done this 2 out of the 3 times the first time was not expected)

On a lighter note, my you know you're a mom moments have included:
Saying, "no, you will not weedwhack the dog"
Writing down info for a job interview with a crayon b/c it was all I could find
Saying things like "get your hand out of your butt" or "stop picking your nose" mid-conversation with another adult and not knowing why they're giving me a strange look when I come right back to the conversation w/o missing a beat. (Usually ones w/ no kids) lol
