New To Hopewell Va

So i just moved to hopewell va with my new husband. It seems like everything is happening so fast. We got married and in about a month we where moving to his new duty post. Hes in the army, but he was stationed in nc for so long that we thought he would be there forever. Its not like moving is a big deal to me, i have moved three times in 4 yrs. Its just so hard to make friends when you are moving around like that. Now that im with a wonderful man who loves me and my son, i wont have to move around unless his job takes us somewhere else. I am working hard on finding a job and making friends. I should be starting school soon as well. What i really want though is to find some good women to hangout with. Some one who has kids around my sons age and who like the same things i do. Its hard to make friends in new place so i am using the interent to do just that. I met my best friend off of club mom (its just like cafe a mom). We where really close until she had to move to ka, we still talk on the phone every week and i would give her my right arm if she needed it. Now im looking for another friend like that. Im the type of person who will do everything i can to help friends no matter what there need is. If i have it and can part with it, it will be all yours. I look for people who are the same way, i dont want to be used by people because im like that and im not out there useing people who are like me. I like to shop and go to the movie and the beach or lay by the pool. Im a fun easy going person who likes to be out side when the weather is hott and inside when its cold. Im from fl and miss all the sun and fun and warm weather. Im  getting use to the cold and the little bit of snow we have had so far. But i wouldnt mind for the sun to come out and warm this place up. I have 3 wonderful kids, they are my life, the be all and end all of my world. My son is almost 4 and i cant believe he is growing up so fast, my step daughters are 13 and 8, they live in alaska with there mom and i miss them everyday. I cant wait for the summer time to get here so i can have my girls back. My hubby and I are trying to get prego, its time for another baby in our lives. It hasnt been easy (like it was with my son), we have been trying for over a year now with no luck. I know it will happen when its the right time.  Well  think thats everything about me. hey! im KINDA close to you. i live in newport news. but will only be here for 4 more weeks. wish i had seen this earlier :(
