Do you know where your children are?

So last night I went to bed late and exhausted. The kids were finally back asleep. I woke up suddenly at 1:45 am and noticed my kids were not in bed and the door was closed (we share a room) I got up and hurried to open the door not sure what to expect.
Here is what I found!
They were still in the middle of whatever they were doing when I found them!
They flushed something unknown down the toilet and what you are seeing is cleaner (non toxic), dog food and makeup wich they tracked onto the carpet!
I am so proud!

No, not chemicals, I use green cleaneres only that are non toxic!
Haha, they had a wild party. Watch out when they get older! HAHA
That's wow! my son did that once to me and I had a panic attack because he know's how to unlock the house door and the child protectice covers for the knobs are no match for him. Needless to say I accidently scared him and he won't leave his bed at night anymore lol

OH MY...I WOKE UP TO MY 2 LITTLE ONES LIKE 3 IN THE MORNING SITTING IN THEIR BEDS EATING COLD PIZZA...I THOUGHT FOR SURE I WAS SLEEPING WHEN I SAW THIS...IT WAS CUTE. THOSE WERE YEARS AGO...BUT I KNOW WHAT YOU MEAN ABOUT DO YOU KNOW WHERE YOUR KIDS ARE AT...MAKING MESSES!!
Door alarms. :-) You can buy them at Home Depot or even Walmart some times, they are either screwed in or stickied on, and when you go to bed, turn them on, and if your child opens the door a shrill alarm will go off! Either it will stop them, or you will at least be able to intervene before they make a huge mess for you to clean up!

We have a monitored alarm system; one day my ds (about 2yrs old) opened the back door and set it off.
Yikes~~ Don't you just love kids ... keep the pictures for later .. they come in so handy for first dates ,, sleepovers with friends,,, future son in laws and grandchildren.
