well I did what no one expected

 Well Im pretty much known for my very long beautifull brunette hair.  People stare at it, compliment it, even more often touch my hair... Ive had it long and dark for about 7 years now so for a long long time.  It was down to my butt and i noticed the other day I had split ends... no no biggie for most but I havn't had split ends in my hair in years its usually so healthy I cut it once or twice a year at the most.   Also I had started having problems with it tangling so I figued it was getting damaged and needed a cut well I KNEW it needed to be cut when I saw the split ends really.  So I tell my hubby im cutting it that morning and drop my ds 4 and half months off at my sis in laws so I can get it cut. 

I knew what I wanted lots of flippy layers and side bangs from the left to the right and while waiting found a pic of exactly the cut that was perfect. So I go for it.  I had only planned on taking 2 inches off but ended up taking  2 feet off! yep thats right and its so different now Im still getting used it the big change. I do love the cut its perfect! now im finding it hard to re-establish my sexyness my long hair made it sooo easy to dial in the sexy factor it was no problem now im new and seems soo different im having to find myself a new sexy it seems.  I feel more energetic and free more myself now its like i reclaimed myself since before my hair had kind of taken over my identity.  Im no longer the pretty girl with the georgous long hair im me.  The woman who doesn't look the same in her photos and has fun drying and playing with her hair in the morning, the woman whos shining still underneath even less :)  most people hate that I cut it.  Its kind of funny how people react as if they owned my hair and they just can' believe what Ive gone off and done.. come on. it was a haircut not a nose job... lol

but all in all I did it I went and Cut my hair and I like it I know this summer will be way cooler for me thats for sure and with the new baby I don't have to do much to make it look like ive spent time on my hair so its great great and no more ponytails unless im breaking a sweat :) wooo hoo to haircuts and all that come with them
