A little background... Dad is 79, has had some health problems in the past. he has a pacemaker. Back in NOvember, he had a heart attack, his pacemaker quit working, he had a stroke , then surgery to repair his pacemaker.... all within 5 days. Fast forward.. he and Mom both got that nasty vrus and were sick for several days. Dad nor her ate very much while they were sick. Dad's blood pressure went down really low for several days. He has home health care, so they were watching him closely. He was so weak from everything he couldn't hardly walk across the room. He tried once, without telling Mom he needed help & fell. He ended up cutting his head .. thankfully not much. If he had, the dr said his blood is so thin he may have bled out before help would arrive. So after two days of bloodwork and testing, they are going to shock his heart today at 11. They said they had to , his heart beat was way too fast. his entire heart this time, not 1/2 of it. They told my mom they had to do this now, and that it may be only a temporary fix. Dad already told Mom he doesn;t want them messing with his heart again, poor guy. He is really dreading this, so please say a prayer for him. Thanks.
