What's the best date you've ever been on? What's the worst?

The Best Date:

My best date ever was my first date with my Hubby.  Since we had been friends before we decided to date, we felt comfortable enough with one another to make a day of it.  We headed off to mountains and went bouldering and hiking.  I proved to my man that I was just as good at climbing up rock formations as he was.  Unfortunately I also proved I wasn't as good at climbing down.  After dusting myself off we heading to the beach and found a raging Greek Festival going on.  We indulged in amazing food, dancing and music.  It was simply fun, and whimsical.  No wonder I married him.

 

The Worst Date

I was 19 it was a blind date (a favor for a friend).  He was supposed to pick me up at 7pm, he arrived at 6pm.  When my parents asked him why he was an hour early this is how the conversation went:  

Him: "The buses stop running at 6pm."

Mom: "So you took the bus here?"

Him: "One could say as much."

Mom: "So how were you planning on going on the date?'

Him:  "Oh, I thought she or you could drive."

Mom: "How were you planning on getting home?"

Him: "I wasn't, if you know what I mean!!!'

 

Needless to say, the date ended there.  My father drove him home (over an hour away) and thankfully I never heard from him again.
