Naomi and I have been fighting Candida for a year. We've only known it is Candida for the last 6 months, but I can see now that its been a problem for the past year. It has been more than a battle - its war! Day in and day out with a diet limited to about 5 foods (eggs, brown rice, legumes, chicken, and green veggies). The Candida became such a problem that Naomi and I both developed allergies, which caused even more diet limitations.
As soon as I learned that it was Candida, I started researching. I found some great info about the candida diet, (foods to eat, foods to avoid) foods and herbs that kill Candida, and how to get the balance back in our digestive tracts (probiotics).
Along the way I learned to incorporate a variety of candida-killing herbs and supplements. Naomi and I are finally beginning to heal. I've learned so much along the way that I want to start sharing what I've learned and what has worked for us. I've put together a few recipes that have helped me and would like to share them with other women who struggle with Candida overgrowth.

I'm SO glad you brought this stuff to my attention when you did. It really smacked it home for me. I'd been hoping this wasn't the real situation but I knew it was.
I'm happy for you and Naomi for getting better! Healing and being on the diet is so much better than dealing with the candida effects AND being on the diet. I'm tremendously happy for you both!
We are not completely healed yet, but we are definitely on our way. It is a huge relief to possibly see the end in sight.
The last recipe is a powder for topical use on skin infections caused by Candida...and could you ask that on the blog, too, for those who are not on CM? :-)
