First off Cheyenne was born February 1, 2010 @ 3:08am... Weighing in at 7lbs 6oz & 19 1/2 inches long. Ok here is the story of it all...
Sunday January 31st I was eating dinner at the inlaws house. At about 5:50pm I started having contractions but I have been having them on and off for about 3 weeks so I didnt think anything of it. Then all of a sudden it was happening every few minutes and they were somewhat painful. My brother in-laws girlfriend was like your having a lot of them all at once are you sure its not labor. I didnt think it was, I was just going through this and I thought it was going to stop. A few minutes later (6:00pm) I felt like I pee'd myself. I rushed to the bathroom and went pee and when I wiped there was blood, it wasn't think or bright red it was very watery blood. I told AJ and he told me to just come sit down and relax, so I did I thought maybe it was my mucus plug finally coming off. Then a few minutes later I had another gush of fluid come out to where I went back to the bathroom and again more fluid and blood. I called my doctor and he told me to go to the hospital and get checked. I was leaking fluid the entire way to the hospital. When they were about to check to see if it was fluid of urine the nurse saw the bed and realized the smell and the blood and was like im going to put you in the delivery room, your leaking fluid your water broke). Once we got into the room the doctor came in and checked me and I was 3cm dialated (9pm) they decided to give me and epidural to keep me relaxed and to make sure my blood pressure would stay on the lower side. I consistantly kept dialating and by 1am I was 9cm but still my cervix was not 100% effaced (sp?) so I stayed at 9cm for about 2 hours before they started to have me really push. It took me maybe 15 minutes to push her out, ps- the epidural wore off so I felt it all... This labor was a lot more difficult then my first daughters delivery. Not only did I stay at 9cm for 2 hours Cheyenne's head was facing my right thigh, and something was constricting her from coming out and me dialating to the full 10cm. Once she came out we realized why she was facing my right thigh and why I was having a hard time dialating at the end, the cord was wrapped around her neck twice, but as soon as they got the cord off her neck she took a deep breath and cried it was the most beautiful thing I ever heard!!!! I had about 5 nurses in the room waiting to check Cheyenne from the nursery because she was considered premature at 36wks & 6days they wanted to make sure everything was okay with her before giving her to me. Once they checked her everything was fine, and they all said she doesnt look like she was premature and they measured her and she was 7lbs 6oz they couldn't believe it. Even my doctor asked me saying did we give you the correct due date?? LOLOL... I didnt get an episiotomy, and she did not tear me so my healing should be quick and everything and everyone is perfect!!!!!!!

Such a great story. I'm so happy you are both well. Asher was sideways facing my right side too but he (with the help of my nurse and a midwife) turned back face down. I can't beleive we had our babies with in 3 days or eachother.
