Baby Your Baby - This class provides expectant parents with basic information on baby care such as bathing, feeding, burping, diaper changing, and holding the baby. In addition, important topics such as SIDS, Shaken Baby Syndrome, car seat safety, water safety, and sun safety. Parents are given tips on choosing a pediatrician, when to call a doctor, and how to childproof the home. The fee for this class is $20.00.
Better Breathers Support Group- Is for patients and family members having pulmonary disease, lung cancer or other breathing problems. They meet the third Wednesday of each month from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., in the Morrison Board Room, 1875 West Frye Road, Chandler. Birth Center Tour - This class provides a tour of our Family Birthing Center where you will learn about what to expect when you arrive at the hospital. The tour will provide a visit to the labor/delivery rooms, recovery rooms, the family centered rooms and the nursery. Parents will be given the opportunity to have all your questions answered. This class is free.
Boot Camp for New Dads - This class provides expectant fathers the opportunity to learn the ropes of fatherhood from veteran dads. Topics include: holding, burping and diapering baby, how to support mom, fears and feelings you may experience. The fee for this class is $20.00.
Breast Cancer "Reaching Out" Support Group - Meets the second Monday of each month from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., at the Ahwatukee Foothills Health Center, 4545 East Chandler Blvd., Phoenix, in the Community Room. For more information, please contact Monica Krise at 480-728-3613.
Breastfeeding Support Group - This weekly support group provides support to breastfeeding moms for their baby's first year of life. The group is led by nationally certified lactation counselors.
- Meet other breastfeeding moms.
- Find out how breastfeeding works for other moms.
- Hear how they overcame hurdles.
- Share 'new mom' challenges.
- Pick up new ideas.
This class is free.
The Art of Breastfeeding - This class is designed to support and educate expectant mothers about breastfeeding and its advantages. During the course, expectant mothers learn about anatomy and physiology of breastfeeding, baby's cues for hunger, basic breastfeeding techniques, and working through the difficulties of breastfeeding. Participants are asked to bring a doll of newborn size to class. The fee for this class is $20.00.
Camp Mercy Total Joint Replacement - Our Camp Mercy Joint Replacement Program is a comprehensive approach to total joint replacement. In the weeks just prior to surgery, patients attend the Camp Mercy orientation class and receive extensive instructions in preparation for their surgery as well an important pre-habilitation exercise routine. Armed with this knowledge and a can-do attitude, our patients and their coaches arrive ready to work and play hard on the road to recovery. This class is free.
Childbirth Preparation - This four-week course for expectant mothers and their coaches is taught by qualified instructors and covers many aspects of pregnancy and birth including relaxation and breathing techniques. The Childbirth Preparation class meets one night a week (same night each week) for four weeks. The fee for this class is $60.00.
Childbirth Refresher - Meets on a Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The fee to attend this course is $30. This one-day, four-hour class is recommended for expectant mothers and coaches who previously attended a childbirth class or have experienced a birth. The flexible curriculum provides insight into the aspects of pregnancy, labor and delivery, and a review of relaxation and breathing techniques. Diabetes Outreach Support - For people with Type 1 or Type 2 diabetes (newly diagnosed or seasoned veterans). This ongoing informational session is hosted by the diabetes educators at Chandler Regional Medical Center. Attendees are provided with a myriad of educational materials on topics of interest to those living with diabetes. This group is open to members of the community, and prior attendance at our Discovering Diabetes series is not required. This class is free.
Diabetes Pumpers - For people with Type 1 diabetes (newly diagnosed or seasoned veterans). This support group is facilitated by the diabetes educators at Chandler Regional Medical Center. Sessions provide an open forum to discuss topics related to insulin pumps. All are welcome to attend this informal discussion group. This class is free.
Eat Well, Live Well - This program for cancer patients includes both nutritional and behavioral aspects for good health. It will meet at Chandler Regional Medical Center's Cancer Center, 1875 West Frye Road, Chandler. Please call 480-728-3635 for more information.
General Cancer Support Group - Meets each Thursday from 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., in the Morrison Building, 1875 West Frye Road, Chandler, Conference Room 3. Please contact Monica Krise at 480-728-3613 for more information.
Leukemia and Lymphoma Support Group - Meets the third Wednesday of each month from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., at 1875 West Frye Road, Chandler, Conference Room 3. If you interested in participating in this group, please contact Monica Krise at 480-728-3613.
Living with Loss Support Group - Losing someone you love can be extremely painful. Loss that goes unacknowledged or unattended can compound your pain. But grief that is expressed and experienced has the potential for healing that eventually can strengthen and enrich life. There is no right or wrong say in which to grieve; however, there are ways to make your grieving more complete and positive. Please join us as we strive to make this a positive experience. This class is free.
Look Good...Feel Better - A program of the American Cancer Society will be held on the first Monday of every other month from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., at 1875 West Frye Road, Chandler, Conference Room 3. Massage Therapy - Is available on a fee-for-service basis for cancer patients and family members by a licensed massage therapist at 1875 West Frye Road, Chandler. Please call 480-728-3895 to schedule your appointment.
Mind Body Skills Groups - Are available at 1875 West Frye Road, Chandler. These are small groups that teach self-awareness, relaxation, meditation, guided imagery and self-expression to help deal with cancer, chronic illness, anxiety, depression, pain and other life stressors. Classes are two hours for 10 weeks with a commitment for participants to attend all 10 sessions. Please call Monica Krise at 480-728-3613 to register for this session.
New Mom Support Group - Come join other new moms for a morning out! This class is free. For new mothers and their infants, age's newborn to 12 months.

Orthopedic Teaching Class - This forum will allow patients to have their questions and concerns addressed, as well as provide them with some peace of mind knowing what to expect before and after their surgery. A variety of speakers will cover topics from:

▪ Tour of the unit
▪ Introduction to equipment used in the recovery process
▪ Post-operative exercises
▪ Case management

Pediatric Basic Life Support - This one-day course is designed for new parents, babysitters, and others interested in learning home safety and child proofing techniques. Participants learn child and infant CPR and choking protocol. The fee for this class is $20.00.

Prenatal Seminar - This two-week course for expectant mothers and their coaches is taught by qualified instructors and covers many aspects of pregnancy and birth including relaxation and breathing techniques. The Prenatal Seminar meets two consecutive Saturday mornings. The fee for this class is $60.00.
Reiki - Is a natural and energetic treatment that promotes healing and stress management. Reiki is based on the belief that there is a universal life force through all living things. When this energy is low or blocked, the person's energy is not balanced and flowing to help promote health. Reiki sessions restore this flow of energy to naturally balance the body and encourage healing and stress reduction. Call 480-728-3895 to schedule your free session.
Safe Sitter - Is a two-day course for adolescents between the ages of 11 and 13. Attendees will receive hands-on practice in basic lifesaving techniques from trained Safe Sitter® Instructors, so they are prepared to respond to crisis situations. Sibling Superstar - This is a one day course for children between the ages of three and eight and is designed to introduce your new baby into the family by preparing child siblings for the upcoming changes. The fee to attend this class is $10 per child.

Stroke Support Group - Meets every second Thursday of the month at 2:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., at Chandler Regional Medical Center, on the third floor in the conference room. This meeting is lead by community speakers and provides education regarding stroke related topics. Survivors and/or their caregivers are welcome. Surgical Orientation Class - This forum will allow patients to have their questions and concerns addressed, as well as provide them with some peace of mind knowing what to expect before and after their surgery. A variety of speakers will cover topics ranging from; preparing for surgery, pre-op procedures, post-op, your stay and a· tour of the surgical department. This class is free.
T'ai Chi - Is a series of six, once per week sessions. It teaches basic movements to aid in strength, flexibility, and balance and stress reduction. The location is 1875 West Frye Road, Chandler, Conference Room 3. The classes are held Mondays from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. The fee of $35.00 is due at the first class. Teen Childbirth - The four-week course for expectant mothers and their coaches is taught by qualified instructors and covers many aspects of pregnancy and birth including relaxation and breathing techniques. This class combines a mix of lecture, presentation, and interactive teaching styles. The unique class is designed exclusively for expecting teens and covers many aspects of pregnancy, labor, birth, post partum recovery. This class is free.
