My daughter was diagnosed w/ Atopic Dermatitis, ie severe eczema last Fall.  Pediatrician prescribed steroids, dermatologist prescribed steroids.  I was told diet change would not help my daughter.  I was also told by the severity of her eczema she would probably end up w/ asthma.  I would not accept this answer.  I took my daughter and had Nutritional Response Testing done on her...also called Muscle Testing.  No needles!!!  The test cost $45.  Her stresses are cane, brown, white sugar, Rye, Eggs, Sprouted Whole Grain, Milk, and Wheat.  She also needed to take probiotics, and of course the fish oil I was already taking was great for her skin.  It took about 8weeks for her skin to heal and for all the allergens to get out of her and mine's system.  I was and still am breastfeeding her so I had to go on the diet change as well.  Let me tell you, it was HARD.  But I did it for her.  Here now are her before and after pictures.  I just got to taking the after pictures but her skin has been healed up for the past 3mo.

That is amazing results!  How do I go about getting nutritional response testing done on my son? He has horrible eczema (he is 9 months old) and has had it since he was about 4 months old. And nothing seems to help. I feel like I've tried all lotions, creams, hypoallergenic formulas.

awww! THat is so great. SHe is precious by the way! We are dealing with something very similar except ds is allergic to eggs milk, barley, wheat, rye, and nuts. I am just starting cutting it all out thought I was for a nut but just found out about the nuts, and glutton allergy and I am breastfeeding and for me its been so hard becuase many things that are suppose to be safe are not so its hard to find what to eat.

Just clicked your link from The Stir post... holy cow what an amazing change!!

My son had some pretty mega eczema from processed dairy that made him scratch until he bled... this was AFTER he weaned at 3.5 years old. Hard to deal with something like that, when we're always told how breastmilk reduces allergies, but I can only imagine how bad his skin would have been, and how many different kinds of formulas we would have had to try had I not breastfed him!

Your daughter is just beautiful, and looks so healthy now!

Wow! Talk about a picture is worth a thousand words! Diet has a much bigger effect on us then we (and most Drs) like to think!
