I'm having a really hard time right now.  Today is February 13th.  In four days, my brother would be turning 27 if he was alive.  This is the first birthday since his death.  And I have no idea what I'm supposed to do for it.

What do you do on a day like that?  I know my parents and husband plan on raising a glass to him, but what do you even toast to on such an occassion?

What do we do?  Do we just sit and cry all evening?  What do I do for my parents?  I'm just at a complete loss.

maybe you could spend the day doing an activity that he liked to do - or go somewhere that meant alot to him.

My husbands brother died at 27 three years ago. Every year on his birthday we make a cd of music he like and get together as a family to celebrate the good times we had with him. Don't think about his death and the sadness just remember what was good about him and the fun times he had.
