Instead of nickle and diming us to death, just let us know at the beginning of the year that you will be asking (in the form of supplies, fund raisers, sports fees and field trips etc) for about $200-$300 from each family.  Letting us know ahead of time will save a huge headache each month!

My mom alway put away $300 a year for each child. That way there was always money for those things that pop up.

i never know anything until a the weekoff andby them we don't have the exta for what they are asking for its just plain crazy and my oldest is only in kindergarden!!

we started setting about $20 aside a month just to cover extras, and that doesn't include lunch money.
