SUPER Excited!!!

As I mentioned in a previous journal post, hubby and I have decided to give our bedroom a MUCH needed facelift with our tax return.  We have been browsing for ideas for our new room for MONTHS, going back and forth on style, what we want, what we don't want, what we can afford, what we can't.  It's been a slow and agonizing process so far...and we haven't even DONE anything yet!  All we've done is browse for ideas.

Anyway, his sister did our taxes for us last weekend - she's getting us back close to $7000!  So now that we have a budget for our room, we have a better idea of what we can and cannot afford.  We cannot afford the wall unit bed that I posted last time.  Since it's such high-quality, they want almost $5000 for the headboard alone! <sad face>  BUT...we CAN afford this one:

I'm so excited!  We're going to be doing the project ourselves, and we'll be starting in the next couple weeks!  We've got to prep the room first - gotta fix the walls, install the fireplace and build the wall around it, and then paint and carpet...THEN, we can start getting the furniture in!  Once we get closer to getting started, I'll post some before pics up...and then, of course, I'll post the after pics once the room is finished!  Ooooo, I can't wait!!  The suspense is KILLING me!
