It has to be hard because it is your mom, but I guess there comes a point where you have to stop helping her.
Your between a rock and a hard place....but it is your mom and she raised you and paid for everything when you were little till you grew up. If it was anyone else I would tell you to say no, but parents ........another story
Wow, hunny this is a hard one. I am often in this same situation with my mom. There have been times where I've had to say no. She's had to understand, basically she had no choice. It was only becausI had no money. But she's my mom and I will always help her no matter what if I can. As long as it isn't taking away from your family. I don't know what your moms situation is, but as for my mom, she's single, 68 yrs old gets partial retirement and works a lot. It still doesn't cover all her bills and rent. So I try and help when I can. SHe help me too with my little guy who has autism. It goes both ways. I hope that helps.
Much love to you mama, keep yyour head up! ♥

Do you feel like you're always saying "No" to your kids? Maybe it's time to have a "Yes" day instead.

They say never lend money to family and friends, make it a gift. That way if they never pay you back you don't have hard feelings about it.
I know how this goes. I had a family member ask me for money all the time. She was very young, just married, with a baby. So I gave it to her. More than we could afford to. It was a gift, I never expeced payment. **maybe some gratitude though... Eventully one day I had to say NO to her. We just had nothing more to give and got into huge debt. So she turned around and bad mouthed us to the family and cut us off from contact. Sometimes no matter how hard you try to make everyone happy you just get screwed.
