My testimony

Hello everyone! My name is Elizabeth, To really know how God changed me, I would like tell you where He brought me from. God is the best friend I'll ever have. No one can do what He does for us mamas! ♥♥♥

I moved out the summer I graduated from high school. Since my father passed away I inherited at 18 and was able to purchase a modest home here in San Diego CA. In 2003 I won third place in the miss colleen to pageant of southern CA, in 2004 went back to win first place(a good memory, and a trip Ireland) I also got a job as office manager that year at an engineering company, and met my current husband Chad (in Jan 2004) things got a bit crazy, I didnt know at first Chad was a crystal meth addict, and had an amazing temper, 2005 I lost my job at the office and worked acting at the haunted trails in Balboa Park, and was hired as Emily in the movie the returning. Took up drinking, smoking, and partying at an alarming rate. My house turned into a drug pad. and I was afraid of my surroundings.  Battered up, drugged up, broke and dating a crystal meth addict, my life sure had changed.  Great time for a baby right?. I then found out I was pregnant... wow.. Chad and I had our first girl Lily. She is so beautiful! I felt trapped,  hopeless, and dirty. I left Chad at my house and went to stay with my mom, "until he got his act together" (i was a contentious angry woman myself, taken to wine,& had much to change, but I wouldn't admit it), he made allot of broken promises and  I went back, kicked out the druggies in my house, and we joined a community church and nothing changed.  But God is a mighty God.... 2006 found a church called "new life center" his prayin' grandmas church, and God took our uglyness and began to mold us into something new and wonderful, more like Him. Wacky stuff had been happening in our home so we had some of the ministers come pray over our house. Went to church that Sunday and the spirit of God overwhelmed us, we got filled with the Holy Ghost (acts 2:38).. immediately, no rehab, no counseling, no 12 step program, just Jesus, Chad had no more need for his previous addictions, he treated me with respect, we both completely quit drinking and smoking, threw out anything that was questionable, movies, music, pictures, whatever. We were on fire for God! He proposed to me in the most beautiful garden in east county (summers past farms) on one knee, and so nervous excited and happy he shook a little (it was so beautiful) , just one month after we got saved! I burst into tears and said yes, and we got married in that same garden the next month! A do it yourself wedding that cost us next to nothing, what a blessing, it was a beautiful day! He wrote the most beautiful vows himself & to this day they bring me to tears of joy, the best thing is there not empty.. He's the love of my life! The best I could ask for! We had Olivia in 2007 and Jewel in 2008! Every year God molds us into something new and better, and my life gets more and more wonderful the more I love my Jesus and follow His will and the role He gave me in this play of life.  Never thought I'd grow up to be the one who talks about Jesus all the time, but I'm not complaining (he who has been forgiven of much loves much!) My old friends who thought "I don't need God" and stayed in the world are slowly dying and going to jail, lost my best friend to an over dose, she was 18 :( some saw what God did for us and got saved to, they are the only ones that I hear are doing well. Anyway, long story long, Chad and I live in San Diego with our 3 wonderful girls, we have the best marriage ever! He works as lead tech at fast water heaters, and preaches in the Jails ministry on Sunday nights, and in the rest homes after church. (we all used to go, but I gave up after number 3. proved more of a distraction lol got lots of funny stories from that) I'm a stay at home mom and love it! Fixin' to home school Lily next year! We just got our first dog, and she is the cutest little punk puppy I've seen (a chew-a-holic). God is so good to us, I love the life He gave me!
