Maybe Spring will get here....sometime......

I am so tired of Winter! Cold, snow, freezing...car won't start some mornings. Trudging through the snow. Bundling up to stay warm. Having the heat up to stay warm. High energy bills.....UGH! Spring has to get here some time. At least today seems a bit warmer. But there is still alot of snow that will have to melt away.

Anyways, I have just been busy working. Business is not good for the taxis. There are too many cars working. But come spring alot of taxis will be taken off the fleet for the summer. Maybe that will help.

My husbands health is not good.

We are trying to get back to my home province. My husband wants me closer to family in case something happens to him. Then I will be around people I know. But we don't ask for help or depend on people for ANYTHING. But at least if I am really , really stuck I will have family to go to. But I don't plan on getting into that situation.  I hope.

The children are looking forward to being in a different place. I get to see the mountains again. Sure miss waking up to the view of the Rocky Mountains thats for sure.

The transmission is going on the taxi. So that is a MAJOR setback for us financially. I have been looking for another job. Haven't been looking that hard, but I guess I will have to do that soon. We will need some kind of income. At least we have a car and another van. But my husband has to put some different parts on that van to get it going. 

I'm home alone. All the children are gone to school. And my 20 year old son went out somewhere. He has to find a transmission for his van too. 

My husband will be done work around lunch time then I will go out to work. Hopefully.

Well I have some housework to get done.

I grew up in Ohio and hated winter. I made a goal to move out west. I have been out west now for 10 years and like it much better. I just can't handle cold weather. I know how you feel.

Hello to you!!   I know exactly how you feel. I cannot wait for Spring to start. I just wrote a Journal about this crazy winter we had. But we have to look for the bright spot@ Take care!
