Empowered

For years I have been trying my hardest to do things by the books.Feeding my kids the right things, making my kids look and act their best when in public, taking my children to church as often as possible, vaccinating, etc the list goes on!!! It just seemed that was the only way too go. Until I recently started meeting other people with different views did I sit back and take a look at my views. It really took me 5 years to realize there are options.

As far as schooling, I started homeschooling. Against the norm and approval of most, homeschooling made so much sense to me. Since I made this decision I have met so many other moms that strenghten my decision. I have even been able to encourage some others to homeschool!

My children will no longer be receiving vaccines due to my recent research. I really had no idea you could say no to vaccines and I encourage you if you still vaccinate, do research and dont just do it because you are told to.

Just doing these things made me feel so empowered and in control of my family. Its really a wonderful feeling not sticking to the mold but breaking out of it and creating your own. I want to encouage anyone that is starting out to be empowered to do what you think is best for your family...do research and go with your gut!
