Loosing it

I don't know what to do. Last night my soon to be ex told me that if I insisted on knowing where my son was when he had him that he would take me to court for full custody and put a restraining order on me. He said he's already talked to a lawer friend that told him he would win hands down because he's working and i'm not. We agreed that i wouldn't until our son was in school then he left in january and i'm in school till the end of april. I have no money and until i'm done with school no skills. I cant loose my son he is my whole life. I have been with him everyday since the day he was born. I've put him to bed everynight.
