Suicide: I just don't understand it.

I learned today that my sisters best friend Katie's(friend of mine too) finance committed suicide sometime last night. They had gotten into a fight and he was drunk so she stayed at her moms. She came home and found that he had shot himself in their bed. Luckily she didn't have her 4 year old son nor his 4 year old daughter with her. But since they weren't married his daughter will not get to stay with her. We don't know what will happen to this poor baby. I just don't get it. He didn't show any signs of depression, this wasn't a fight different from any other and he had these kids to think about. I know I can never know his thoughts or feelings but why would anyone choose death. What can be so bad that death is the only option. Then again his problems are over. Anyone that reads this please just keep his little girl in your thoughts and prayers. When everything is said and done she will suffer from this the most. Katie and her son too. Thanks.

no one truly understand suicide. before my husband and i got married my father -in-law tried to kill himself(done this many times). also my mother has tried kill herslef toomany times also). i hope everything works out for that little girl.
