Irritated with the doctors office.....

 Uhgg, I hate dealing with the doctors office sometimes. My doctor is great but the receptionists are... well that's the problem, you never know what you are going to get! Sometimes they are great and sometimes they are really rude. And every time I talk to one of them they tell me something different. I would just like to be treated well. My appointments are 267.00 each, you would think that kind of money would at least come with pleasant receptionists. It just seems all about the money and not about the patient. And my doctor is great, I really like him, it is just the way the office is ran. Anyway I guess that is enough bitching for me today!!

I know what you mean.  I am 6 months pregnant and I call my doctor's office and say to the receptionist, "I have forgotten when my appointment is.  Is it Tuesday or Wednesday?"  She says, "Didn't they give you a reminder card?"  "Last month."  And instead of just looking it up for me, she starting asking why I couldn't remember it and how long as it been since I'd seen the doctor.  Good grief!  I am pregnant.  Not remembering when an appt is seems par for the course.
