There are still many places I shall go.
And it's thanks to you, I hope you know.
That reference to Dr. Seuss's "Oh The Places You'll Go!" is our attempt at honoring him the best way we know how -- by imitation.
Today is Dr. Seuss's birthday, and we're celebrating the occasion with some fun stuff happening throughout CafeMom.
Visit the Babies group and enter the Favorite Dr. Seuss Contest to win a Dr. Seuss Book Collection. While you're there, play some of their fun Dr. Seuss games.
Speaking of babies and fun gifts for them, join in the fun and games at the March Baby Shower, taking place in the Pregnancy group.
Then head over to the Baby Buzz and read what our blogger will be reading to her twins tonight.

5 Fun Facts About Dr. Seuss
1. Dr. Seuss's full name is Theodor ("Ted") Seuss Geisel.
2. He first used the "Seuss" moniker when he got in trouble at Dartmouth and was stripped of his editor-in-chief position at the university's humor magazine. He kept writing for the magazine as Seuss -- it was an easy way to slip his work past the university officials.
3. He never had any children of his own.
4. His editor bet him that he couldn't write a book using 50 words or less. He won the bet with "Green Eggs and Ham."
The fifty words used: a, am, and, anywhere, are, be, boat, box, car, could, dark, do, eat, eggs, fox, goat, good, green, ham, here, house, I, if, in, let, like, may, me, mouse, not, on, or, rain, Sam, say, see, so, thank, that, the, them, there, they, train, tree, try, will, with, would, you.
5. "Oh The Places You'll Go" sells almost 300,000 copies a year because it's given as a gift to college and high school graduates. It's also the last book Dr. Seuss published before he died.
Bonus Fact: He started using the "Dr." before Seuss in acknowledgement of his dad wanting him to get his Ph.D. from Oxford.
