Room Renovations Cont...

Dave and I have been busting our butts on the room for the past week and a half.  The wall for the fireplace is completely framed out now, the TV's already hung, the components (cable box, PS3, and our DVD player) are all hooked up and running, as are the surround sound speakers.  The lights have all been installed.  The past few days have been devoted to painting - first the ceiling, then the walls.  We've even started decorating the room a bit - artwork and all on the walls.  Things we still have to do:

*Install carpet (not delivered yet - should be soon, though)

*Install fireplace (won't be delivered until the 19th of March)

*Put the stone on the wall for the TV/fireplace (which we have to wait for the fireplace to be delivered to do)

*Finish office area of our room (hang cabinets, put up a stone "backsplash", and then hook up computer stuff)

*Purchase bed and mattress (the bed we want isn't available until May 28, as it's a new model that just came out the beginning of the year)

*Finishing touches

I can't believe we're this far already - it's only been a week and a half, and we're already about halfway done on this!!!!
