So I got in for a eye examine February 15th.The guy says,"I've never seen any one's eyes look like this in all my years of doing this." So he sends me to this specialist across town.On the 16Th I visit the specialist,they do a series of test,and I go through another eye exam.And the doctor leaves the room and comes back with another doctor and a tape recorder.(I still don't know what the tape recorder was for) He sat me down and said Ma'am I'm sorry to tell you,but you definitely have some swelling on your brain.I go upstairs to see the Neuroscience DR and they do an MRI.2 days later the Results from the MRI were back,I wouldn't come in so he gave me the results over the phone.He told me that I had a large tumor behind my eyes.I hung up on him,and I haven't called him since.He called and left 3 messages on my phone,but right now,I still can't believe it.I have 2 children.I don't have time for that right now.I'm terrified.I don't want to die,and I don't know what to do!! Can you send me an angel,plz send me an Angel to guide me!!!!!

I am sorry this is happening. Sending hugs and prayers your way!

Now the first thing is you must go back and talk with the doctors.

But you some type of support system. Is there anyone can stand by you during this process?

Next, after you to speak with the original doctor, have him give you a copy of all your medical records relating to this and then you go get a second opinion

Make sure your support person has pen and paper to write things down.

If you on't have a support person, ask the original doctor you saw if they know of any suport groups. Let him know you need someone to walk along side you through this process.

There is nothing wrong with needing help. Ask.

I believe that Jesus is a very present help in time of trouble.

This is to whom I pray. And my prayers are that God lets you feel his presence and peace while being guided by his Holy Spirit.

Oh, I forgot to add ...

did the doctor say that having a brain tumor meant you were going to die?

Did they give you the name of the type of cancer?

Post as many details as you feel comfortable with on here. There may be other moms experiencing (or have experienced) the same thing.

Please call your doctor back and see what the prognosis and recommended treatment is. The fact that you have children is the #1 reason you need to. I can TOTALLY understand your fear and panic but you need to. There are new treatments all the time, but if you wait you are limiting them. The sooner you get it taken care of the better your prognosis. Some things are fast-growing, so PLEASE call the doctor. I know you're scared, so do it for your children. ((HUGS)) My thoughts will be with you.

Oh my goodness I am so sorry you are going through this you have been through alot over the years, but I'm begging you to please call you doctor back they may be able to do something to remove it or fix it. Time is critical in medical situations a few days can make a difference. You really need to call him back please let me know how you are I left you my telephone number you can call anytime and it doesn't have to be to talk about adoption.
