assualt question

a woman i worked with got arrested for telling her 9 yr old daughter if she didnt start behaving she was going to whoop her butt and that she her mother so she can.. well a friend of hers mom heard it and called the cops .. she got arrested and charged for assualt for just saying that and her bail was 97 dollars.. i think thats nuts.. thats why some of the kids are like they are now days allways getting in trouble and spolied bratss and in drugs and gangs.. i got my butt spanked a few times as a kid and there is nothing wrong with me.. hell they use to do it in school.. what is going on with society now days..so watch waht u say in public now too.
