How hard was it to name each of your little ones?  How did you come up with their names?  Are you someone that still can't decide on a name?  With my kids, there were times I never thought we would come up with just the right name.

I have heard that some parents can struggle to name their little one, and then they take one look at their baby and just know the perfect name!  Do you think you could take one look at a baby, and pick a great name to fit them?  If you would like to try, we have a really fun contest going on in Babies where you can do just that!  Come and join us for the Name Game, and take a guess at the names of some of the little ones whose pictures have been posted.  In this case, a good name pick might not be worth gold, but it can be worth a $25  gift card.  :)  You can play and enter as many times as you would like, so we hope you will join in the fun!

In the meantime, enjoy some of these fun baby name facts:

  • Two popular names for girls during the Civil War were Liberty and Matilda.  Liberty seems to be growing in popularity again and even has been used by celebrities.  Joey Lawrence recently welcomed a baby girl named Liberty Grace.
  • The most popular boy name on CafeMom is Logan, in the US, it's Jacob
  • The most popular girl name on CafeMom is Isabella, in the US, it's Emma
  • Some cultures are extremely superstitious about a babies name.  Some believe it is bad luck to change the babies name or to speak the babies name before it is born.

I hope you enjoyed some of the baby name facts!  If you are still on the hunt for a great baby name, you can always stop by these great name groups:
