Bad Karma comes in three's. It always has. Were striking out with finding the right home for us. For the past month we have been broke because I've had to take days off for snow days and then Sierra being sick. Now today Lance lost his paycheck. $480 dollars is gone because he sat his money down on the counter of a Bp station. He put change in his pocket and instead of picking up his bills he forgot them and walked out. 15 minutes later he was back at the store, but his money was gone. I've had to use the overdraft for cash this week. We went to the sheriffs office and he took down the information and was nice enough to spend an hour at the BP station looking over the security camera. But there isn't a great shot of the man who picked up the money's  face. We do know the guy walked out with Lance and his car pulled out in front of DH.

So whoever is the jackass that took off with DH's money, I hate you. You had to be standing there close by. Perhaps you even saw DH set down his money. You left at the same time so obviously you were checking out at the same time. I hope the next time you make a mistake, someone takes advantage of your misfortune.

Dang. That totally blows. Can't believe people are like that. I'm so sorry for your DH. Hope he's not being too hard on himself. Shame on that man for stealing your hard earned money. Hope it doesn't affect your ability to raise your downpayment.

I have done the same thing but not with that amount of money.  I hope that good luck or karma returns it to you another way.
