actually, I think I was pushed!lol
My dear friends and fans! I am so sorry for my absence and appreciate those that have checked in on me!! I can't tell you how much I have missed my CM friends!! Life has been unbelievably BUSY: I mean, even beyond our normal standards.
We are building a house, which in itself is a full time job...but, alas, I also have six kids, a hubby, dog, cat, fish (at least, I am pretty sure we still do...I keep putting food in, but the bowl is pretty cloudy!:), our current home to tend to, writing deadlines and a book that I am trying to finish the manuscript, an outside the home business, I'm the MOPS co-coordinator, in charge of a Lenten retreat happening this weekend, and I'm already planning for VBS this summer...can you say, OVER-COMMITTED or maybe "needs to be committed" is more fitting!
We are still in the birthday rush (Jan., Feb., March, April...and then a little lull until the summer!) My dd made her Confirmation a couple weekends ago. I know I am missing a lot of the highlights (and lowlights), but I wanted to check in just in case you thought I fell off the face of the earth...which I did! :) Btw, I gave up sweets for lent...seriously! I have been 28 days, 15 hours, 3 minutes and 32 seconds without chocolate (not that I'm counting...) and Aunt Flo just visited! There must be some kind of award for a feat like that! Possibly a lifetime supply of chocolate will be sent to me...my fingers are crossed!
Please, give me an update on your life as well! I MISS EVERYONE!!
Blessings,
Kim

Glad you are doing ok.. Sounds like you need a vacation all by yourself hehe!!
Your life sounds an awful lot like mine. Minus two kids, a fish, a book deal and a new house. ;) I hope you get some calm soon. Glad to see you back on CM.
Hi! :-) I'm just glad you are still breathing! Woohoo!! Good to see you here. Whoa...on the chocolate, really???? Wow, I'm impressed! LOL! Hope all goes well with the new house and the book!! Take care of YOU!!
Missing reading your journals but happy for you and your family on the new house build! I know that is a stressful hot mess in itself, so I am sure by the end of the build you will have alot of new material!
Wow all I can say is Thank goodness I am not Catholic, as I would not survive Aunt Flo without some chocolate thru the ordeal! Best of luck to you! Hugs! Ronda
Welcome back... you have been missed greatly. Who else can write about "my" day so nicely ;) as most posts I feel like I walked in a very similar pair of shoes.
