Letter to God and the Universe

Hi, God.  Hi, Universe.  Been a while, I know.  I'm sorry.  I am very thankful that you've stuck by me, even though we haven't spoken much.

I know starting over is hard, and I have had my fingers crossed, but a good friend reminded me today that you can't hear crossed fingers.  You can hear prayers.  So, here it is. 

You're probably  getting alot of this right now, with the economy being what it is, but please, help me get a job where I want to be.  I don't want to stay here.  Please, help me get out.  give me strength to continue to hope, and call, and check the websites.  As a teacher, I know budgets are being slashed, and I appreciate any help I can get on this.

Please help me find affordable, comfortable housing for my family.  You know what I need.  I'd really LIKE a dishwasher, but I NEED a decent home in a safe neighborhood.

Please help my children through this as well.  We talk, and they miss their dad, and I tell them Daddy still loves them.  They could use a little of your guidance and protection as well.

Lastly, please help me find the money to pay my power bill so they don't  cut it off.  It's really nice to have lights.
