Last Night, Oh my gosh!

Okies yestarday was a great day until .... 6 pm then it turned into Hell on Earth. (Gross just to let you know.)

Addie was sitting there eating her favorite dinner; Cheese Pizza, yummy yummy and that is when my sweet loving child turned into a puking machine. I was waiting too see if her head was going to spin around while she was puking. So I thought she would be fine if I got her a glass of gatorade; I totally made the worse mistake by getting her that.

Well after the fifth time of her puking I called the Doctor Office, because they have 24 hour clinic. The nurse told me that maybe I could get an appointment for my daughter. So I put Addie into the car with a blanket and a change of clothes. (Which I would be greatful for having.)

I drove to the clinic and found out that there were no appointments and the next one who be at 2:00 am in the morning. And it was 9:00 pm, I drove passed hositpal to get to the clinic. I was upset, and Addie was puking so much that she was puking green and brown. She couldn't keep gatorade even sipping a little amount. So I drove to the Primarys Children's Hositpal, and she would stop puking for about 15 mins to 20 mins and then she would start all over again. So when I got to the hositpal, she was cover in puke and my back of the car was also covered in puke, Addie tried to make into the bag.

I walked into an over crowded hositpal, at 10:00 pm .... the first that happened is the nurse started to get me lip about bring a not sick child to the hositpal, and then it happened Addie puked all over the nurse, and it was so gross, it hit her right in the face. And then she stated that it was so gross, that she was old enought not to puke on people. I stated "well she is only 5 years old and she is sick, come on she has puked for 4 hours, about 12 times." Then we were in the waiting room waiting for a room, the nurse told me to get her to sip on some gatorade and Addie started to puke again. The smell and the hearing her, got us into a room very fast, or maybe it was the fact that she was pale, weighing only 30 pounds, which she usually weighs 33 pounds. But the other parents in the waitting room got mad because they had been there before we got there and Addie was getting a room.

While after Addie puking on another Nurse and a doctor, and a Xray Tech nurse and 6 hours of waiting, found out that Addie has a severe UTI, upper Resp infection, and double ear infection. Poor little child, so about 4:30 am, she went to sleep in her bed.

Today she slept half the day, and then wanted to eat pizza for dinner. I thought to myself no way Addie, so I gave her some crackers and gatorade, and told her if she could keep that down then we will find something else for her. Addie kept it down, however didn't want anything else to eat and went to bed at 9 pm.

What will tomorrow bring?

Omg what a day you had, I hope she gets lot of rest and feels better soon (I almost puked reading it)

After you sit back and she is fine..laugh that she puked on them, it was gross but funny she is 5 and it will happen she is sick..

I know when I sit back and think about it that first nurse got what she needed to get to have a change of thoughts (what is the word I am looking for)... oh well that what happens when you are tired you can't remember the words you want to use...lol
