Uh-oh..."The Talk" Mom to Son

This was about a year and a half ago. However, it might be useful for someone.

 

This is one of those situations where I would have just rather crawled into a hole somewhere, covered my ears and sang, "Don't worry, be happy". Unfortunately, that option was not available.
I recently had to install a filter program onto my laptop and the family computer. Looking in the history for a website I had visited awhile back, I came across a very interesting place. It was a site that I don't remember going to. This is on my laptop, which the boys (11 and 13) are not to use. I clicked on it only to have a giant, and I mean giant cock look me in the face. It took up the whole screen. I was like... what the fuck? Pissed I was, at seeing this. Once I had it in my mind that someone was going to get into a lot of trouble, I certainly didn't want to start the interrogation process without a little more knowledge of where I was. *hehe* I mean, I needed to know EXACTLY what was on this site, right? As I perused and navigated the site, I told myself it was purely for informational purposes of course. ;) 
Holy shit Batman! Now, I don't consider myself to be ignorant about the human body and what it can do, but this made me think how some such things are even possible. I had heard of it before, but not actually seen it. Without getting completely descriptive here, let us just say it involved two men, a woman and double penetration of a certain body part. Yes, I am naive as far as porno goes. I admit it isn't something I regularly watch. Nevertheless, that is normally, I guess I say normally very loosely here (pun Intended) not the most accessible place for that many 'visitors'. I'm not sure whether or not they were photographs or clips from a movie. However, I certainly hope that someone gave that gal a bag of frozen peas, or corn, or something to sit on once the 'session' was over.
Other clicks of the mouse gave me many more 'educational' visual effects. Didn't know they came in THAT many colors!!!
With that said, I figured the best way to handle it was to first talk to the younger one. I wanted to see if he had a role in all of this. He is like his mom and is an awful liar. Yes, he was there too, but it was a neighbor boy who had told the oldest about this site. I believe this, because we have had problems with this kid in the past. But, the boys know they are not allowed to have anyone else in the house when I am gone. So, that was another strike against him.
Now it is time to confront the oldest. He flubbed his way through it and I explained that he needed to know that that kind of stuff is very demeaning to women and it is nothing like that and grounded him. Partly for going where he shouldn't have on MY laptop and partly for breaking the 'no friends in the house' rule. I then told him that if there was ever anything he wanted to talk about, I would be honest with him and explain the best I can. Well, as best I can for not having a penis. I asked him if there was anything he wanted to know about and he surprised me by asking if it was normal to grow hair faster on one side of your body than the other, pointing down 'there'. I told him yes, that his hormones and testosterone were going crazy right now and his body is changing. He is becoming a man. With Todd being out to sea at the time (I wanted him to take care of this one), I was going to wait to ask my son to start putting the crusty towels in the washer instead of back in the cabinet. However, since the opportunity rose, I took it. I asked him in a 'cool mom', nonchalant way to please not put used towels back in with the clean ones. He turned red and said no problem. As I walked out his door I turned and grinned at him and said, "You know, if there is a time *eh-hem* when you need your sheets washed, just put them in front of the laundry room door and I'll take care of it. Just so you know, THAT is completely normal, so don't be embarrassed." I winked at him with a smile and shut his door. About 10 minutes later, he came out and told me that that was really cool that I talked to him about that kind of stuff and that I do a good "dad". All I could think as he was walking away was "Wow....."

Awesome job mama! Mine is only 6 yo but I'm hoping when the time comes, he will know he can come to both of us. Of course, if he only wants to talk to dh that's fine too, lol.

I'm with you, Guinhyvar. Although it would be kinda funny if I had to do it, not gunna lie. I'd probably be laughing the whole time I'm trying to tell my Son about the birds and the bees. haha.

Wow your a smart lady! My step son is 14 and completely niave about such things.  I think.......

My husband is at home and says no one talked to him about sex so why should he do it. 

I figure it's better to talk to him about it then some girl who he is fucking.
