Yesturday, my three kids and I spent a wonderful day at the beach.  The temperature was a mild 75-80 degrees, the sun was shining brightly, very few clouds in sight.  We were able to wade in the ocean, build a sandcastle and mote, and feed the greedy little seagulls.  Today, well...today was another story.  We woke up to high winds, rain, and near freezing temperatures.  It even snowed.  If you are familiar with way down deep southern Texas you would know that in the past twenty years you could count the number of times we have actually had enough flakes falling that would actually stick to the ground on one hand.  But here now on the first day of spring, Mother Nature decides to dump a load of the white fluffy stuff.  I love the snow, probably because I have only been lucky enough to play in it twice.  But only in Texas can you swim(comfortably) at the beach on Friday and have snow on Saturday.  Go Figure!

I know the felling, I live close to Lubbock. Yesterday I was wearing a teeshirt outside until about noon then the cold wind started. Today we had snow.

I live in SW Oklahoma and we have the same weather here. It was nice until about 5pm yesterday then it cooled off some. About 630 it started raining with high winds and hail. Got up this morning to 2" of snow on the ground.
