My Biggest Loser Casting Call *pics included*

So it was pretty anticlimatic. I got there about one and was seen about five thirty. Stood in line all that time, my feet and knees were killing me!
Anywho, so when we finally got up there, we sat at a table of ten other people and had about 45 seconds to tell our "story." I think they took up most of the time with the people that got VIP passes, because we were in and out pretty fast, but earlier in the day the groups were taking longer.
I haven't gotten a call back yet, and they said that they'd make all the callbacks tonight...but I have my 2nd chance in the video if they haven't already seen it.

This is part 2 of my line family, the blond is Mallory, the guy is Chris, I forgot the other girls name. They were the people directly behind me. Mallory was awesome, a drama major and we kept talking about writing a skit to act out and I randomly asked her to swoon so I could decide if she deserved a part. (The skit that I made up was that we got snowed in because the weather was so bad and we ended up having the eat the random skinny people that came with their obese girlfriends or boyfriends).
Thought it was pretty ironic that the trash cans were filled with McDonald's...all of them! I guess it must have been close.
Next is Margaret the mom and Allyson the daughter. Margaret might do it if it's teams, but she didn't go up there with us, but she did stand in line the whole time with her daughter! I think Allyson might make it, she's awesome and very pretty! She weighs 380 lbs! I couldn't believe it. I mean she's big but 380 sounds huge and I didn't think she was. Anyway she was funny and lively and she said she might sing in her video so I asked her to sing for me and she did! She was nervous and shaking like crazy but she still did it! She sang Aretha Franklin's Chain of Fools! So her basic story is that she works in a museum, doesn't get out much, has a brother with MS and has NEVER BEEN ON A DATE! When she gave her speech she said, I am tired of just existing...I want to live. I want to climb a mountain, I want to go on dates, I want to DO THINGS. It was a great speech and she was shaking when she gave it but she got it all out. I really think she'll make it.
Okay, here's the last leg of the line. When I got there, there were six rows deep of what you see here...so basically imagine six of what you see...I took a pic when we were about halfway through it, so there are as many people behind me as you see in front of me. Ugh it was horrific and I'm glad I had cool people near me to pass the time...everyone else looked miserable but we laughed and joked the whole time.
Me and Shelly my bff line buddy. She's been obese her entire life, her mom put her on her first diet when she was 12. Her mom is uber obsessed with her weight because she's very skinny. Shelly has a daughter that was recently diagnosed with Chron's (I'd look up the correct spelling but I'm exhausted and just trying to get this up for you guys) so she needs to be around to take care of her.
Me and Amanda, one of the three finalists from last season. She started out at 250 and lost 87 lbs for the show, which left her at 163 at the end...she now weighs 173...she said the holidays got her. She looks freaking fantabulous huh?! Great photo of her, terrible one of me!
Amanda with Shelly...Shelly was talking to us and Amanda walked up, well I had no clue who Amanda was, but when Shelly turned around she freaked out so bad Amanda took this big step back like WHOA...but then she hugged her and was super nice and answered alot of questions that Shelly was firing at her. She seemed kinda guilty about gaining 10 lbs, but she was like...I LOVE CHRISTMAS COOKIES. Plus, she also told us she is staying with Danny the winner from last season and that Danny was at the Texas auditions. I just felt cool knowing insider stuff.
Oh, and we had seen a big hummer limo and Shelly was like, did you come in that? And she was like "pssh no I came in a pickup truck." AWESOME! Also, after she left (she stayed with us awhile because everyone else was boring...like she walked up to us because we were laughing and talking in the first place, how cool is that?). Anyway, after she left one of the application hander outter people came up to us and was like I had no idea she was coming, I was so excited! So I thought it was pretty cool that the casting staff could be as excited as other people were. Also, I started the picture taking craze, because Shelly freaked out so much I was like well take a pic! Then I figured you guys would never forgive me if I didn't get one too so I had her take one. Then it got stuck on record so I'll post that if it's funny. Then everyone wanted a picture with her, poor thing. Lol.
PS, Amanda brought her boyfriend, he was super cute!

Sadly, I didn't get a call back, but I still have a "second chance" because I don't know if they've watched my video audition yet.

Also, I just got a facebook message from Mallory (the blond in the first picture) and she got a call back! It would be so exciting if I stood next to someone who made it on!
Shelly did not get a call back.
I haven't heard back yet from Allyson, so stay tuned!

You are so beautiful and funny. :) I went to the "Starting over" casting calls and I think I cried for hours. LOL and I never got a call back but had a blast.
